Pisgah Forest – Ronnie Joe Maddox, 73, passed away Monday, January 18, 2016. He is the son of the late Louzetta Carter Davis. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Jean. Ronnie served his country in the US Airforce. He was a devoted family man and adored his grandchildren. He enjoy hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sue Maddox, three daughters; Tracy Pace and husband Mark of Pisgah Forest, Rhonda Mason and husband Tony of Pisgah Forest and Stephanie Maddox of Walhalla, SC; one sister, Ann Millard and husband Benny of Gainsville, FL, grandchildren; Matt, Katelynne, Caroline, Elizabeth, Amanda, Emily, Abby, Justin and Jordyn, great grandchildren; Evie and Bentley. Funeral services will be held 2pm, Monday, January 25, 2016 at Brevard Community Church with the Rev. Todd Alewine officiating. The family will receive friends from 1pm until 2pm at the church. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory with military honors provided by the Transylvania County Honor Guard.
