Lake Toxaway – Ruby Miller McCall, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. She was born July 26, 1936 to the late Lee Haines Miller and Cora Searcy Miller Wolfe. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, John Hubert McCall, one grandson, Toby Mathis and three brothers, James, Donald and Clifton Miller. . Mrs. McCall helped loving care for her grandchildren as well as her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed visiting Pigeon Forge, TN, music show and gospel singings. Survivors include four children, Jimmy McCall and wife Leona of Lake Toxaway, Steve McCall and wife Judy of Lake Toxaway, June Middleton and husband Mike of Lake Toxaway and Tony McCall of SC, three sisters, Louise Phillips of Brevard, Marie Ingram of Columbia, SC and Ruth Owen of Sapphire, one brother, Larry Miller of Lake Toxaway, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 649 Kim Miller Road, Lake Toxaway, NC 28747. Graveside services will be private.
