Ruby Catherine Shepard Reynolds Brevard – Ruby Catherine Shepard Reynolds, 88, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014. Born in Clover, SC, she lived most of her life in Brevard. Mrs. Reynolds was the daughter of the late Samuel A. and Minnie Charlotte Page Shepard and was the wife of the late Roy Lee Reynolds. She was also preceded in death by her son, Billy Howard Reynolds, and a grandson, Timothy Allen Shook. Mrs. Reynolds went to work for Ecusta Corp. during WW II and retired from there after 47 years of service. Surviving are her daughters, Charlotte Ball Caughman of Inman, SC, and Donna Ball Maney and husband Bruce of Brevard; son, Michael Lee Reynolds of Brevard; grandchildren, Brian Shook, Jesse Lee Shook, Todd A. Allen, and Tiffany Reynolds Baker; great-grandchildren, Christopher Shook, Joshua Burlin Allen, MeKenna Ann Baker; Carlie Baker and Keylan Baker. The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, May 29, 2014 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
