Cedar Mountain– Ruby Robinson Skerrett, 98, native of Cedar Mountain went home to meet her Lord and Savior Saturday, December 10, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Rosa and Bunyan Robinson of Cedar Mountain. Ruby was post master of the Cedar Mountain Post Office for 30 years and she operated Cedar Mountain Grocery with her husband, Ollie. She was a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church and was known for her generosity and cheerful disposition. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by 4 children; Oliver Clayton Skerrett, Jr, John Richard Skerrett, Rita Lollar and Ameran Tooley. She has 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Oliver Clayton Skerrett. The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Rocky Hill Baptist Church on Hwy 276 in Cedar Mountain.
