Sandra G. Beck, age 72, of Brevard, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

Sandra was a member of Dunn's Rock Baptist Church in the Connestee community. She was a computer programmer with DuPont and finished her working career with Transylvania County as a Program Analyst.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Houston and Burnice Glazener of Brevard, her mother, Lola Mae Glazener also of Brevard, and her daughter, Stephanie L. Franklin.

Survivors include her aunt, Shirley Moon (Bill) of Monteagle; TN; stepchildren, Lora Meadows (Bill) of Spruce Pine, NC, Robert Franklin (Penny) and Jeff Franklin all of Mills River, NC, J. Beck, Jr. (Pam) of Oxford, NC, T.L. Beck of Creedmoor, NC and Jeanne Pulley (JT) of Franklinton, NC; several grandchildren, and many cousins from many different areas.

She was a very loving and caring person with a lot of friends including lifelong friends, Nancy Hughes (Howard) of Mills River, Von Hogsed, Rachel Bracken, and Janet Robertson all of Brevard.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Connestee Cemetery, 316 Connestee Rd., Brevard, NC. The family will receive friends from 9:45-10:45 Saturday at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
