The world lost a bright light on March 2, 2026 when Sandy Phillips passed away at the age of 74.

Known for her endless love, stubborn spirit and selflessness, she was the heartbeat of her family. There isn't much in this life that she didn't do, and even less that she couldn't do if she set her mind to it.

Sandy was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Wiley and Florence Owen and Sherman and Birdie Phillips, parents, Hillard and Jessie Mae Phillips, brothers, Roger and Eugene, baby sister, Sheronda and her granddaughter, Leela Livis.

She will forever be missed by, Robert Hains, the man of her heart for 30 years, children, Annisa Campbell, Stacey Shelton, Katie Fox, and Ashley Kurschner, brothers Ricky and Dwane Phillips, Eight and a half grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 1pm, Friday, March 6, 2026 at Rock Bridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11am – 12pm on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Moody Connolly Funeral Home.
