Sarah Yvonne Morgan went to her heavenly home on Friday November 22, 2024. Sarah was born August 17, 1983. She was the daughter of Howard and Linda Morgan, and the mother of Lillian Elizabeth Pearl Morgan.

Sarah was a loving mother, sister, and aunt. She was always there for everyone. She volunteered her time with softball teams starting with her nieces, and then her daughter's team. She also logged many hours of volunteer time with the Cedar Mountain Fire Department and rescue squad.

Upon Sarah's passing, she was reunited with her son Timothy William Smith, as well as many other loved ones who have passed before her. Sarah's memory will live on within her daughter Lilly Morgan, her father and mother Howard, and Linda Morgan, her sisters and their spouses, Tasha and Curt Lowe, Wendy Morgan, and Elizabeth and Joey Peters, and brother, Brandon Ballard. She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces, and spouses Hannah and Trent Morgan, Hayley and Joe Sine, Emma Lowe, Jordan Ballard Hannah Lowe, Bella Peters, Belle Powell, and Amelia Peters, nephews Hayden (Van) Gaskins, JJ Peters, Wyatt Lowe, Nick Peters, Conner Powell, and Jd Powell. Sarah will also be greatly missed by her grand nieces Kylee Sine, Skylar Morgan, Dahlia Morgan, and grandnephews Braxton Burnett, Peyton Sine, Octavius (Gus) Morgan, and Stetson Morgan. Sarah also holds a special place in the heart of Harleigh Taylor, a girl whose life was greatly impacted and improved by Sarah's love.

To know Sarah, was to love her. She was the most wonderful and caring mother, sister, friend, and aunt. She loved to make other people laugh. She was so inclusive with everyone. Sarah was the type of person that did not ever want anyone to feel left out. Sarah enjoyed spending time with her daughter, taking her to softball games and cheering her on. Sarah was always there for everything, and everyone. She truly was the best person anyone could ask for. She taught so many people different things. She will truly be missed.

Her services will be on November 27, 2024 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. Family visitation will be at 11:00am. The family will receive guests at 12:00pm. A service will follow at 1:00pm. From there we will proceed to the cemetery at Blue Ridge Garden of Memory.
