Scott Owen Allen, born August 5th, 1972 passed away on Tuesday February 9th, 2010. Scott was preceded in death by his father Virgil Lee Allen. Survivors include Scott's mother Juanita (Owen) Allen, two brothers; Duane L. Allen and his wife Brenda, and Darrell D. Allen, and Scott's fiancée Shelie Crocker all of Lake Toxaway NC. He is also survived by three step-children; Terry Crocker of Connestee Falls NC, Amanda Blackwell of Lake Toxaway, and C.J. Blackwell of Hendersonville NC. Four step-grandchildren also survive; Madison Owen and Devon Owen of Connestee Falls and Jessie McCall and Jordan McCall of Lake Toxaway. Scott was an Alumni of Rosman High School and worked at Wade Hampton Country Club doing Grounds Maintenance. Funeral services will be held at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Saturday February 13th, 2010 at 11:00am conducted by Rev. Tommy Owen, Rev. Tim Pressley and Rev. Tommy Wren. Interment will will follow at Mack McCall Cemetery.The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00-8:30pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to help with funeral expenses.
