Scott Terrell Johnson, 60, of Fletcher, NC passed away on unexpectedly on Sunday, June 5, 2022.

He is survived by his bride, Abby Mason Johnson; his son Andrew Baxter Johnson and his fiancé Helen Bratcher; his son Christopher Joseph Johnson; his stepdaughter, Cheyenne Daugherty; his mother Dorothy Baxter Johnson; brothers Chris Johnson, David Johnson, and Daryl Johnson. He was preceded in his death by his father Jack Jervis Johnson.

Scott was a dedicated community servant with over 30 years of his life spent volunteering for the Transylvania County Rescue Squad and working at Transylvania County EMS. He was one of the first 4 original supervisors at EMS and he was also one of the first to retire with 30 years of service at EMS. He was currently working as a nurse in the Emergency Department at Transylvania Regional Hospital.

Scott was full of energy and always had a smile on this face. He will be greatly missed by many. His last day on Earth was spent on the lake with his bride and family. They skied and jumped off Jump Off Rock at Lake Keowee. He was happy that day and in life.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, June 11, 2022, Brevard First United Methodist Church. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
