Selma Beryl Goodman Brevard – Selma Beryl Goodman passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Tore's Home in Brevard. She was born on July 15, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA and was preceded in death by her parents, Minnie Goldstein Klevansky and Isreal "Issy" Klevansky. Selma enjoyed giving her time as a volunteer to the Sharing House in her earlier years. She was an artist and enjoyed working with her flowers from her gardens. Ervin and Selma donated often to several charities and was a huge supporter of the Transylvania County Library Foundation. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Ilene Carpenter and was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Goodman and her son, Todd Allen Goodman. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
