Solomon Kindall "Bud" Jones, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020. Mr. Jones was born on April 15, 1929 in Transylvania County, NC to the late Paul Kindall Jones and Rhoda Juanita Heath Jones. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Edward Kindall Jones and his sister, Mary Jane Howard. Mr. Jones was a veteran of the United States Air Force and he was a member of Carr's Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Ruth Holden Jones; his daughter, Anita Jones Purdy and husband Mark of Concord, NC; his brother, Bob Jones and wife Lucy of Cedar Mtn.; three granddaughters, Lindsey Rice, Michaela Rice, and Savannah Purdy.
