Stella Parris Orr, age 83 of Brevard died Sunday July 11, 2010, at The Brain Center of Brevard. She was born September 12, 1926 in Transylvania County to the late Carl H. Parris and Olive Shepard Parris. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph A. Orr, four sisters Margaret Slagle, Ella Parris , Mary Henson and Otellia Smith, three nephews and one niece. Mrs. Orr was a homemaker and a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter; Mrs. Cheryl Colloins and her husband Randall of Pisgah Forest. Two nieces and one nephew. Memorial services will be held Friday July 16, 2010 at 11:00am at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Tommy Owen.
