Sudie Mae Anders, 71, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her death. A native of Claiborne County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elsie O'Dell. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Alton O'Dell, and daughter Gailena Weaver. Mrs. Anders was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church of Brevard. Survivors include her daughters, Alberta Gentry and husband Charles, Debra Holden and husband Harry, Karen Sitton, Melissa Scruggs and husband Marty; sons Gary Weaver and Rex Weaver; sisters Glenetta Shoffner and Jenetta Shoffner; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Howard officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the chapel of Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. The graveside service will be at 2:00 PM in the Hopper's Cemetery in Sharpe's Chapel, TN on Sunday, January 6, 2013.
