Ted Julian Owen, 85, of Etowah, passed away peacefully at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, NC on June 24, 2021. Ted retired from Ecusta Corporation and spent his life farming. He was a hardworking, faithful and respected husband, father, grandfather and friend. Ted was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Carolyn Daniels Owen; his parents Claude and Minnie Galloway Owen; his brothers Tommy, Eddie, and Donnie Owen, and his sister, Jean Owen Davis. He leaves behind a daughter, Heidi Owen of Etowah; his grandson Daniel Owen; his son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Jennifer Owen of Chesnee, SC; his brothers Ronnie, Larry and Steve Owen, and his sister Debbie Owen Ayers. Ted will be missed by the rest of the Owen "clan" and his many friends. Graveside services will be held at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory at 11 am Saturday, July 3, 2021.
