Terry Dillard, age 64, of Mills River, went home to be with our Lord, after a long, courageous battle with cancer, on Friday, June 21, 2019. He was the son of the late Gilbert and Cleo Dillard. Terry had a servant's heart for those in need. In 1999, he along with two other preachers, started Beulah Land Ministries. This was one of his greatest blessings. Just remember, "God is good!" He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cathy Phillips Dillard, one son, Brandon Dillard and his wife Charlotte, one daughter, Cassie Burrell and her husband Chris, two brothers, Tim Dillard and his wife Donna and Mick Dillard and his wife Teresa both of Sylva, one sister, Diane Cabe of Lafayette, GA, three grandchildren, Justin, Coby, and Hannah. Funeral services will be held 2pm, Monday, June 24, 2019 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with the Revs. Tommy Hart and Tony Galloway officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 6pm until 8pm at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
