Thelma Patterson Moody (Mia), passed away peacefully on Thursday August 26th, 2021 surrounded by family. She was predeceased by her parents, Freeman and Della Patterson, her brother Howard and sister Loretta. She is survived by her brother Channing Hubbard; sister Wilma (spunk) Patterson; her children, Michael and David Barton, Sharon Moody and Kimberly White; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was born and raised in Transylvania, NC before moving to Taylors, SC to raise her family. Thelma was a die-hard Clemson Tiger fan and shared a birthday with her favorite artist Elvis Presley. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home, Brevard, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
