**Thomas Henry Dodson**  **September 27, 1944 – July 13, 2024**

Thomas Henry Dodson, a beloved father and grandfather, passed away on July 13, 2024, at the age of 79. He was born on September 27, 1944, to the Nell and Thomas Dodson in Rocky Bottom SC. He survived his three children, William Dodson of Rosman, Dale (Robbin) Dodson of Lake Toxaway, and Melissa (Nathan) Moore of Lake Toxaway, as well as his three grandchildren Megan, Bailey, Chandon, and six great grandchildren. He lived a full and vibrant life.

Papa was a hardworking man that left a beautiful legacy behind for generations of his family to come. He was a southern gentleman with a jolly sense of humor. He loved Mack Trucks, logging, Bluegrass, and most of all Papa took pride in his family. He offered unwavering support and gave strength to his loved ones. His wisdom, and gentle spirit will be remembered and treasured by all who knew him.

Thomas Henry Dodson's life was a testament to love, passion, and dedication. Words can't express how missed he will be by family, and friends.

Family will receive friends at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 6-8pm. The funeral service will be held at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 2pm. Burial will be in Middlefork Cemetery.
