Penrose – Thomas Roscoe McCall, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 5, 2016. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Roscoe and Sophia McCall. He was also preceded in death by his wife Diane Hamilton McCall. Mr. McCall was a dedicated member of Little River Baptist Church. He worked for Southern Bell for over 30 years. He was the proud owner of McCall Farm where he was lovingly known as the "Corn Man". He was a wonderful husband, a devoted father and a proud granddad. Surviving are his sons; Mark McCall and wife Dolly of Penrose and Tim McCall and wife Tammy of Penrose, sister; Mary Jane Pierson of Penrose, grandchildren; Brieanna, Andy, Avery, Ross and Sam. Funeral Services will be held at 3pm, Monday, March 7, 2016 at Little River Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Farmer officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm Monday at the church.
