Timothy William McGhee "Tim", of Lake Toxaway, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 6, 2023, after a long battle with cancer and many other illnesses.

Tim was a loving husband, dad, papaw, son-in-law, brother, and friend.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Sheila; four adult children, Rickie Justus. Steven (Zolila) Justus, Patricia Purcell and Judy Justus (Hunter Shelton); six grandchildren, Roman, Izzy, Christina, Dominic, Anthony and Sofia; one sister, Lisa Harris of Surry, VA; several estranged siblings; five nieces, five great nephews, and 2 great nieces; and many special friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, William "Billy" McGhee of VA, Flossie "Anne" McGhee of VA, one daughter, Christina Michelle McGhee of the home, and father-in-law, Brodus Jones.

Tim will be forever in our hearts.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the residence, 2217 Kim Miller Rd., Lake Toxaway, NC 28747. Burial will be in Brodus Jones Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence on Monday, July 10, 2023, starting at 5 PM.
