Tommy William Holden, age 70, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 19, 2020. Mr. Holden was born on August 1, 1949 in Transylvania County, NC to the late Luther Monroe Holden and Eunice Cathleen Ward Holden. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Gayla Hope Holden; a daughter, Trisha Riddle, and a son-in-law, Larry Riddle. Mr. Holden loved his family. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He loved hunting and he was a member of Old Toxaway Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Keith Holden and wife Deb of Seneca, SC, Kevin Holden and wife Laura of Balsam Grove, and Kris McCall and wife Erika of Brevard; one daughter, Ravonda Ball of Asheville; two brothers, Billy Holden and wife Hazel of Lake Toxaway and Harry Holden and wife Debra of Brevard; nine grandchildren; Christie, Karyn, Michael, Kerry, Abby, Eli, Hunter, Benjamin, and Alex; four great grandchildren, Jun, Norah, Sarith, and Nate. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Friday, January 24, 2020 at Old Toxaway Baptist Church.
