Obituary

Pisgah Forest- Tommy (Tom) Raymond Vaughan, 75, passed away on July 3, 2021 with his loved ones by his side. Tom was born to the late Rev. Lud B. and Elizabeth Vaughan in Slater, SC. He was the fourth of nine siblings. After serving his country in the U.S. Army, he returned to his hometown to continue building his life. Darkness is the brother of light. Born with the same passion at the dawn of time when the Lord spoke His words. You can't enjoy the good times without knowing the pains of the bad. Tom met everyday embracing love found in the best of days while making the most of it when life delivered its worst. While the light of the world has dimmed with Tom's passing, we know that he can rest in peace being reunited with his dearly departed family and his beloved dog, Jethro. Survivors include his only daughter Season Vaughan, his "Sweetie," of 14 years, Martha Maxwell and his loving brothers and sisters, William Vaughan, Joseph Vaughan, Grace Owens, and Virginia Clanton.
