Brevard – Veva Jewel Jordan Thompson, 92, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at her daughters home. She was the daughter of the late Oscar and Sadie Beech Jordan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Garfield Thompson and her son, Jesse Maxwell Thompson. Survivors include her son, Rodney Thompson of Cleveland, TN; daughter, Candace Thompson of Brevard and grandchildren; Carol, Heath, Shane, Jason and Michael. Funeral Services will be held 1pm, Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church in Cleveland, TN.
