Brevard – Victoria Ada Lee Gravley Smith, 93, died on Monday, May 9, 2011. She was born on December 17, 1917 to the late William W. Gravley and Mattie H. Gillespie. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Smith, nine brothers and three sisters. Surviving are her son, Robert L. "Bud" Smith of Brevard; one brother, Pinky Gravley of Frostproof, FL; three granddaughters, Monica, of Candler, NC, Sylvia of Millersburg, KY, and Lorna Lynn of Seattle, WA; great-grandchildren, Cameron and William of Millersburg, KY; numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, May 13, 2011 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Nazarene Church of Brevard, 290 Old Hendersonville Hwy., Brevard, NC 28712.
