Pisgah Forest – Viola Capps Loftis, 77, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Adger and Beulah Luker Capps. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Roy Loftis; sons, Jeffrey Mark Pruitt and Ricky Allen Pruitt and several brothers and sisters. Surviving are her sons; David Pruitt and wife Wanda of Pisgah Forest and Tim Pruitt and partner Pat of Pisgah Forest, brother; Frank Capps of Spruce Pine and a sister, Maybelle Patterson and husband Jerry of Hendersonville; eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2pm on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Raines officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
