Wade Sanders age 62, died Sunday April 8, 2012 at Transylvania Regional Hospital. He was born October 28, 1949 in Swain County to the late Carl Windom Sanders and the late Eula Lambert Sanders. . He was a member of Tow String Baptist Church in Cherokee, he was a veteran of the Viet-Nam War and was employed by Mitchell-Bissell Corporation in Rosman. Survivors include is his wife Debra, their daughter Crissy Sanders and fiance' Edward Lunsford of Rosman; brother James Sanders and wife Loretta of Rosman; sister Evelyn Lowe and husband James of Rosman; two grandchildren Dalton Sanders, Ashton Sanders and one great granddaughter Alysha Sanders of Rosman; Nieces Nicole Owenby and Jennie Smith, nephews Tim Lowe, Jeff Lowe, Thad Sanders and Matthew Smith; Great-nieces Jessica Lowe and Hannah Sanders and great- nephews Tyber Lowe and Heath Sanders, and special friends Ted Lowe and Shirlee O'Neil. The funeral service will be held on Friday April 13, 2012 at Old Toxaway Baptist Church at 2:00pm Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
