Walter A. Griffin, Jr. Brevard – Walter A. Griffin, Jr., 82, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014. He was the son of the late Walter A. and Grace Kelly Griffin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine G. Griffin. Walter loved golf. He was very friendly and everyone enjoyed being around him. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and mentor. Surviving are his sons; Terry Griffin and wife Monica of Chesapeake, VA, Timothy Griffin of Brevard and Thomas Griffin and wife Kelly of Wake Forest, NC; one brother, James Griffin and six grandchildren; Riley, Jack, Patrick, Thomas, Daniel and Melissa.
