Wanda Gail Anders

January 2, 1949 – October 22, 2023

Wanda Gail Anders, 74, of Rosman, Transylvania County, NC, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

A native of Transylvania County, she was the oldest daughter of Arthur Elliott and Bessie Lee Gravley Anders. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, David Ray Anders and James Richard "Dickie" Anders, and sister, Carolyn Virginia "Ginny" Anders.

Gail loved making hand crafted rugs, jewelry, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. She loved working in her yard and taking care of her plants.

There was nothing more important to Gail than her family: her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings, and cousins. She had a big heart and was always happy and available to help others.

Her survivors are her two daughters, Tammy Morris and Misty Jones (Stacy); her six grandchildren, Summer Lance (Joseph), Alex Morris (Rachel Powell), Seth Morris (Summer), Tyber Lowe, Whitney Evett, and Matthew Davis (Nicole); eight great grandchildren, Angel Lance, Brentlee Lance, Kayleigh Roso, Bentley Roso, Jaxson Roso, Jazman Roso, Shyla Morris, Kairo Davis; brothers, Ronnie Anders (Pam),  Billy Anders (Debbie Fisher), and Shelby Setzer; sister Pamela Anders Yarborough.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Middlefork Baptist Church.
