Wanda Galloway Singleton, age 57, of Balsam Grove passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Mission Hospital.
She was born June 11, 1963 in Brevard, North Carolina to the late Betty Lou Wilson and Archie Galloway. In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her brother Ronnie Galloway.
Survivors include her husband Joey Singleton; sons, Tyrel Singleton and Kayla, his wife, and Tate Singleton; grandchildren Gavin, Madison, and Kamryn; sister Lynn Galloway; nieces, Melissa Castillo and Andrew, her husband, Kelsey Shields, Breana Moore; nephews, Tony Shields, Chad Galloway; several great nieces and nephews.
Wanda was a kind hearted, loving woman. She would always greet you with a big smile and was a joy to be around. Wanda loved the Lord and her family, especially her special little girl. She enjoyed spending time with her family and preparing for her journey to Heaven. Wanda worked for the Self Help Credit Union in Rosman, in which she enjoyed her job and loved her work family. All that knew her could attest that she was truly one of a kind.
Visitation will be held from 1pm-3pm, funeral beginning at 3pm at Woods Memorial Church on Sunday, May 16, 2021 with graveside service at the Old Woods Church with the Preachers Davis Owen and Devon Owen officiating.
