Wanda Mae Holloman Smith, age 74, died Thursday September 27, 2012 at Memorial Mission Hospital. She was born July 8, 1938 in Norfolk VA to the late Wandless Jackson Holloman and Leone Winfred Forrest. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Winnard Forrest Holloman. She was a member of the Crab Creek Baptist Church a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her husband Edward Reese Smith; one son, Reece Edward Smith of Penrose; three daughters, Reene Jones, Denise McCarson and Teresa Farmer all of Penrose; one sister, Lilly Hughes of Chesapeake, VA; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held Saturday September 29, 2012 at 11:00am at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory conducted by Celebrant Gatha Dickson.
