Brevard – William "Dwayne" Eplee, 50, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016.

He was the son of the late William Alfred Eplee.

Dwayne was a true sports fanatic! His favorite teams included the Pittsburgh Steelers, NC State Wolfpack and the Atlanta Braves. He also was a Dale Earnhardt fan. He was a member of the Brevard High School football team when they won the State Championship in 1983. He was a kindhearted man with a great sense of humor. He dearly loved his family.

He is survived by his mother; Yvonne Eisenberg and step father Neil Eisenberg of Brevard, step-mother; Brenda Eplee of Fletcher, sons; William Dillon Eplee of Brevard and Thomas Blaine Cantrell of Horseshoe, one brother; Retired Master Sgt, Robert Darrell Eplee and wife Christy of Portsmouth, VA, two grandchildren; Olivia and Amelia Cantrell.

A memorial service will be held 2pm, Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
