William H. (Bill) Griffin, 73, of Penrose, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. He was the son of the late Howard and Dorothy Griffin and was preceded in death by his sister Linda Dills and brother Dennis Griffin. Survivors include his beloved wife Carolyn Griffin, daughter Abby Bottoms (Stacy) and grandson Blake Bottoms of Mt. Pleasant, NC, sister Sandra Griffin, and brother Kenneth Griffin. He was a lifelong resident of Transylvania County and worked for Biltmore Dairy Farms in his early career. The remainder of his career was as a residential building contractor with a crew that was like family and was known for having much fun while building beautiful homes.
