William (Bill) G. Keifrider, age 86, of Brevard, NC passed away peacefully of natural causes on April 1, 2024.

Bill was born in Pottstown, PA on February 2, 1938 to the late Harry R. Keifrider, and Annie Keifrider (Erb).

He was a proud Navy veteran, serving  aboard the USS Hyades AF-28 from 1956-1960. Bill enjoyed spending his days from childhood fishing and hunting, and enjoying his cabin in the forests of Pennsylvania, where he lived until 2019.  He had a multitude of talents renovating his homes, building special pieces of furniture from wood for his family, baking at Schultz's Bakery, assisting his late older brother, Junior (Harry R Keifrider, Jr.), in his painting business, maintain machines at Firestone, truck driving for Snow King Frozen Foods, and retiring as correctional officer at Graterford State Correctional Institution.  In Brevard, NC you could often see him out caring for the yard or having coffee with his friends at Bojangles.

Survivors include his wife Lucy Daniels Keifrider, daughter Kim R. Keifrider, grandson Wayah Keifrider-Posey, and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his father Harry R. Keifrider, mother Annie Keifrider ( Erb), and his 10 siblings Harry Keifrider, John Keifrider, Harold Keifrider, Howard, Keifrider, Earl Keifrider, Kenneth Keifrider, Doris Reitmeyer, Betty Lytle, Nancy Hums, Ann Kurpil.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date at Mount Zion Cemetery, Pottstown, PA.
