William Scott McJunkin
Rosman – William Scott McJunkin, 45, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals.
A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of Lloyd McJunkin of Rosman and the late Jean Powell McJunkin.
Scott was a loving husband and daddy. He loved the outdoors. He was an avid bow hunter and was a member of the NC Bow Hunters Assoc. He was a talented carpenter, very passionate about his work and loved helping others. Scott was a member of Middle Fork Baptist Church. He loved his Lord and wanted people to see that in him.
Surviving in addition to his father are his wife, Beverly G. McJunkin; daughter, Brenna McJunkin of the home; brother, Daniel McJunkin and wife Holly of Mills River; niece and nephew, Chloe and Connor McJunkin.
A celebration of his life will be held at 4 PM Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Rosman Baptist Tabernacle with Rev. Tommy Morrow and Rev. Chester Chappell officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm Saturday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the mission fund of any local church.
