William Leroy Rogers Rosman – William Leroy Rogers, 78, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at his residence. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late J. B. and Mildred Watkins Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and was a member of V. F. W. Post #4309. He was employed by the Federal Government for over 30 years in Washington, D. C. Surviving are his daughters, Theresa R. Poston and husband Bob of Huntingtown, MD, and Kimberly Justus and husband Mike of Illinois; son, Norman Leroy Rogers of Rosman; sister, Catherine Chapman and husband Tommy of Rosman; 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 31, 2012 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
