Wilma Mathis Galloway, age 75 formerly of Brevard passed away Thursday September 9 , 2010, at her residence in Green Springs Ohio. She was born August 4, 1935 in Jackson County to the late John Claude Mathis and Pearl Massingale Mathis . In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dawson Galloway, one brother; Randle Mathis and one sister; Thelma McCall. Survivors include her daughters; Mrs. Roberta Walter and her husband Charles of Republic Ohio and Mrs. Cathy Gahimer and her husband William of Vickery Ohio, four brothers; Orville, Coy, John and Troy Mathis all of Brevard, two sisters Mrs. Bessie Levi of Hendersonville and Mrs. Evelyn Hoxit of Penrose, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 14, 2010 at 11:00am at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Richard Levi. Interment will follow at Pisgah Gardens.
