Wilmer McGee Mr. McGee, 82, formerly of Brevard, NC, passed away in Charlotte March 15, 2014. Born in Transylvania County, NC, he is preceded in death by his parents, the late Henry Milton McGee and Gertie Louise Lance McGee, and his son, the late Michael (Mike) Keith McGee. Immediate family members includes his wife, Frances McGee, of Charlotte; daughters, Lynn Ingle and her husband, Carl, and their children, Chad and Brad, of Charlotte, and Crystal M. Curry and her husband, Phillip, of Columbia, SC; granddaughters, Megan and Lauren and their mother, Angie McGee (Mike) of Brevard; sister, Victoria McGee Farmer, of Hickory. The family will gather for visitation from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Friday, March 21, 2014, at Grace Baptist Church, 10 W. Holden Rd. Brevard, NC 28712. A service celebrating Mr. McGee's life will follow at 2:00pm, Saturday, also at the church In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that donations be made to Grace Baptist Church.
