Winnie Owen Kropelnicki Lake Toxaway – Winnie Owen Kropelnicki Winnie Owen Kropelnicki, 89, went to be with the Lord on June 6, 2014. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Dillard Owen and Pearl McKinna Owen and was the wife of the late Steven Kropelnicki. Mrs. Kropelnicki was a member of the Brevard Wesleyan Church and was a charter member of the Lake Toxaway Garden Club. Surviving are her sons, Steven Kropelnicki, Jr. and wife Nancy of Asheville and James Kropelnicki and wife Tomoko of Lake Toxaway; grandchildren, Douglas, Jeff and Stefanie; great-grandchildren, Melinda, Chris, Nicholas, Kaitlyn, Matthew and Gabriel. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM Monday, June 9, 2014 at North Toxaway Baptist with Rev. Tommy Mullis and Rev. Hank Moffitt officiating. Burial will be in Owen Family Cemetery.
