Rosman - Zelda Breeden, 76, went to be with her Lord & Savior on August 9, 2025.

Zelda was preceded in death by her parents Samey Rufus Williams & Mary Evalee Whitmire, husband Howard Allen Breeden, son Howard Allen Breeden Jr, grandson Michael Dewayne Owen, granddaughter Nicole Alexis Breeden and  son-in-law Billy Brittian (Lisa).

Zelda, also known as Granny, was a wonderful, loving & devoted mother & grandmother to all her babies. She was always looking to teach her grandchildren new and exciting things. Including things of Jesus. She enjoyed cooking, canning, crocheting, gardening & playing bingo. She will be missed dearly by everyone that loved her. Zelda was best know by the community for her long time employment of One Stop I on Asheville Highway. Greeting and serving her loyal customers.

Zelda is survived by her children; Darlene Breeden Walker (Mark), Danny Breeden, Lisa Brittian & Sammy Breeden (Nikki),  grandchildren; Scotty Breeden, Cynthia Cantrell (Thomas),  Renee Owen (John), Adam Whitmire, David Stamey (Brooke), Jennifer Bush (Van), Alexis Mathews (Tad), Patience Bailey (Dawson), Katlyn Glass (Roger), Danny Breeden Jr, Parker Breeden & Kayson Breeden, 20 great grandchildren, brothers; David Shelton & John Williams and sister,  Wanda Williams and many nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3pm, Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at Gillespie Cemetery in Brevard.
