His whole life was a formula. George Tesnow = Sacrifices. Papaw spent his whole life making sacrifices. From when he was a young boy growing up in Akron, New York, he made sacrifices for his family everyday. He made great sacrifices for his freedom, and his country's freedom, in the second World War. He made sacrifices for every team he ever played for in the Major Leagues. He made sacrifices for his wonderful wife Louise, of 58 years. He made sacrifices for his 3 sons, Terry, Chris, and Greg. He made sacrifices for community, whether it was his job as plant manager at Ecusta, Olin, Glatfelter, whether it was coaching Little League Baseball, or whether it was just being a great example for his great community. He made great sacrifices to making men out his 8 grandchildren. But most of all he made sacrifices for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
