Obituary for Ollie Haynes "Junior" Bryson

Ollie Haynes “Junior” Bryson ended his pain and suffering and went home to be with the Lord on November 20, 2014.
He was a lifelong member of Cathey’s Creek Baptist Church and he served in the United States Army from 1951-1953. Mr. Bryson was a member of the Dunn’s Rock Masonic Lodge since 1964.
He leaves behind his precious wife of 64 years, Margie Henson Bryson; 2 sons, Terry Bryson and wife Jan, Dicky Bryson and wife Jennifer; his very special grandchildren, Jamie Bryson and wife Sarah and their 2 children, Tillie and Sadie, Jessica Owen and husband Nicolas and their 2 children, Myah and Collin, Brook Ledford and Mitchell Ledford; his sister, Margaret and the late Acie Waldrop; brother, Dick Bryson and wife Frances; the late John L. Bryson and wife Essie. He is also preceded in death by his parents, Ollie Haynes Bryson, Sr. and wife Rita Osteen Bryson.
Mr. Bryson loved the Lord and his Family and will be greatly missed by all. A special heart felt Thank You to his Hospice family, Joelle Cleveland, Jessica Fisher, Denise Kiser and April Hayes. You’re the best.
The graveside service will be held at 3:30 PM Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Cathey’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Roger Smith officiating. Masonic graveside rites will be conducted by Dunn’s Rock Masonic Lodge #267.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm until 3 pm Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his honor to Transylvania Hospice or Shriners Children’s Hospital.
