Thomas F  Cooper
Thomas F. Cooper, 93 years-young passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 at his home. He was born on July 31, 1921. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Luther and Eunice Cooper, his sister Betty Taylor and grandson Thomas F. Cooper III.
Tom is survived by wife of 65 years, Lucile Cox Cooper of Pisgah Forest and his brother Joe D. Cooper of Brevard.
Tom was the proud father of five children, ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. His children include Eunice and Calvin Frady of Penrose, Susan Moore of Penrose, Thomas Cooper, Jr. of Simpsonville, SC, Luther and Myra Cooper of Pisgah Forest and Sarah and Marty Reid of Cedar Mountain.
Grandchildren include Matt Frady, Alissa Cook, Jennifer Worley, Aubrey Moore, Chas Moore, T.C. Cooper, Kimberlee Cooper, Krystin Cooper, Justin Cooper and Blakely Reid.
Tom served his country in WWII as a naval combat veteran. He spent his life as a positive role model to countless young men and women as Little League coach, church youth group sponsor and supportive fan of young athletes.
Services will be held on Saturday, December 13 at Enon Baptist Church where he was a member. Family visitation will be at 1pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, PO Box 669, Pisgah Forest, NC 28768.
