David Baynard, 43, was called home to be with the Lord on August 5th, 2015.
David of Pisgah Forest was preceded by his late father Hicks Gordon Baynard and mother Catherine Cabe Baynard, both of Transylvania county.
He was survived by his wife Victoria Grogan Baynard, children Grace and Madison Baynard and step children Brianna and Heath Roberts, as well as many other friends and family.
David was a loving husband, father and friend. David was currently an “Ax man” and driver for Eppersons Tree service . He was also honored as a Sergeant in the US Army serving from 1990 to 2002. David served not only his country but also his community as a volunteer fireman for the Transylvania Fire Department. David was part of the “good ol’ boys club” with friends that he has known most of his life. He had a heart of gold for his friends, family and all that knew him. He was a man of great character that touched many lives with his stories and charm which caused him to make friends everywhere he went.
Services for the celebration of his life will be held at Moody Connolly in Brevard on Wednesday, August 12th, Visitation will be from 10am and service to follow at 11am. Interment will follow at 2pm in the NC State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC.
