Obituary for Bernice Grindstaff (Dunn)

Brevard – Bernice Dunn Grindstaff, 71, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016.
She was the daughter of the late William “Bill” Dunn and Alice Stansell Dunn.
Bernice was an active member of Selica United Methodist Church for her 71 years and was a sports fan who loved pro football, the playoffs and the Super Bowl.
She was very active politically and served on several committees. No job was too big or too small.
Family always came first, she was loyal to a fault with family and friends. She had several health issues but they did not keep her from living life to its fullest.
Bernice is survived by one daughter, Tabitha Morgan; two grandsons, Levi Morgan and Elijah Galloway; two sisters, Sarah Dunn Alexander and husband George, and Barbara Dunn Owen; two nieces, Jill Kilpatrick and Tina Clayton and husband Toney; three great-nieces, Lea Kilpatrick, Pamela Kilpatrick, and Monique Clayton; two great-nephews, William Colton Kilpatrick and Voshaun Kilpatrick; one great-great niece, Kyaha Kilpatrick; special friend, Joyce Emory.
The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Selica United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Selica United Methodist Church, 529 Selica Rd., Brevard, NC 28712.
