Brook Burrell Kitchen (Burrell)
Hendersonville – Brook Burrell Kitchen, 42, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016.
A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of Linda Lamb Burrell of Brevard and the late Robert W. Burrell.
Brook was a 1991 graduate of Brevard High School, a 1996 graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill where she received a B.S. in nursing and was in the marching band. She also was a 2003 graduate of Pfeiffer University where she received a MBA. Brook enjoyed gardening, growing vegetables on her deck, working in the yard, and spending time with her kids. She was an avid reader.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Brandon Kitchen; children, Hunter and Leah Kitchen of the home; mother-in-law, Becky Kitchen of Brevard; father-in-law, Rodney Kitchen and wife Bonnie of Etowah.
A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Saturday, April 30, 2016 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends for Life-Forever Farm 405 Reid Siding Rd., Lake Toxaway NC 28747
