Obituary for James Cecil Reese

Brevard ā€“ James C. Reese ā€œJCā€, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 10, 2016.

He was the son of the late Otto and Minnie Hughey Reese. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Ella Mae Reese and one sister; Mildred Justus.

Mr. Reese proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was employed by Ecusta for over 43 years.

Survivors include two sons; Steven Reese and wife Joyce of Cedar Mountain and Keith Reese and wife Terri of Brevard, six grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1pm, Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Turkey Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Jason Kittrell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Turkey Creek Baptist Church, 805 Capps Road, Pisgah Forest, NC 28768.
