Condolences

Condolence From: Steve Lawlis
Condolence: To all of Don's family:

I'm so sorry that I missed the service. I would like to have met all of you. Believe it or not, I was a student at North Knox High School when Don was assistant principal and graduated in 1965 I believe just before he became principal. My mother, Dorothy Lawlis, taught math there and was quite fond of Don. She passed away four years ago. I was able to meet with Don a couple of times when I realized that he was living in Brevard and we had quite a nice reunion. I have been retired here since 2003 and was delighted to see that he lived here as well. My condolences to all of you and know that he was always viewed as a good educator and a good man.

Sincerely,
Steve Lawlis

Condolence: Dearest Daniel , we want to give our deepest sympathy to you for the loss of your Father. Don was Kims teacher many years ago, and was a very well respected man in our community. His life here on earth touched so many other lives and will always be remembered by all that knew him. May you find peace and comfort in knowing that you will see him again one day our dear friend. Condolence From: Travis Voglesong
Condolence: Dear Grandpa Don,
Thank you for the summers spent fishing...hiking cross-country just to get to the perfect spot to enter the creek...wading up Bogard and Blue with our gear, keeping cool in the creek waters on hot summer days. Thanks for instilling in me the love of the perfect game, golf. Thanks for the trips to Holiday World. Thanks for the advice you gave..."Find something you love to do and do that for the rest of your life". Above all, thanks for the memories. You are gone, but not forgotten and your great-grandson will always know how proud you were when you first heard you had a great-grandson. He is growing and healthy and I wish you could have met him.

Love always, Travis, Susan & Brayden.
