David “Matthew” Brown, age 25, of Balsam Grove passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018.
He was the son of David and Kristi Baynard Brown. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Butler Claude Brown, Jr. and maternal grandparents, Larry and Diane Baynard.
Matthew was a graduate of Rosman High School. He was a member of the Balsam Grove Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He never met a stranger and dearly loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
In addition to his parents, survivors include the love of his life, his wife, Paulina Sanborn Brown, grandmother, Annie Brown, sister, Hope Brown, mother in law , Olivia Sanborn-Stone, step father in law, William Stone, father in law, Raymond Sanborn, brothers in law, Ray Sanborn and Holden Sanborn, sister in law, Katie Sanborn, aunt and uncles, Kim and Joe Hall, Doug and Donnie Brown, nieces, Sophia, Aria and Mackenzie, many great aunts and uncles and many cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2pm, Monday, September 3, 2018 at Turkey Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymond Whitfield officiating. The family will receive friends from 12pm until 2pm prior to the service. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
