Tree planted by streams

The time that I knew Deborah was short but very impactful. She commissioned me to paint a very meaningful Mural in her soon to be hair salon. We would chat a lot looking over pictures making sure that we brought her vision to life. When she shared her heart with me about why she wanted this particular painting done it brought praise to my lips. She wanted to be a light in this community and to share the gospel with all that came into shop. For about 4 and a half months I would go in her shop to paint and pray she would stop in occasionally to see the progress. She would always brighten up the room with her smile. The mural was a tree with cherry blossoms planted by a Stream. Her vision was to have Psalms 1:3 inscribed by it. we had laid it out once but we changed our minds on the position of the words. Thursday night 9/10/15 the last time we spoke she had spilled some paint on the floor where I was painting the river and she wanted to know it I could fix it. I told her that it added a cool effect to the water. we never got to finish it. but I plan to make sure her dream lives on. I will memorialize this in some way in the future. Psalm 1:3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither-- whatever they do prospers. I thank God for allowing me to meet such a beautiful Soul Deborah I love you.
