Obituary for Doris Bullock Rozier
Brevard – Doris Bullock Rozier, 87, passed away Saturday April 23, 2016.
Doris was born March 11, 1929 in Sweet Water, Alabama to Robert Lee and Pearlie West Bullock..
Doris had been married to Clifford Rozier who was a member of the United States Army taking them to many Army posts in the States and Germany. Later Doris moved near her family in Cleveland, MS where she worked for many years at Cleveland State Bank before retiring. Doris moved to Brevard, NC in 1999 where she enjoyed spending hours in her garden growing flowers, playing bridge and enjoying activities at Silvermont. She was a member of Glady Branch Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Gordon Bullock, Earl Bullock, Clifford Bullock, Buddy Bullock, Ferrell Bullock; sisters, Louise Gant, Bessie Tedder, Jean Dean, Anita Kea, grandson Eugene Veenhof.
Doris is survived by her children, Debbie (Woodie) Beach of Vicksburg, MS; Dee (Willem) Veenhof of Brevard; grandchildren, Meredith (Frank) Fox of Pearl City, HI, Anton Veenhof of Fort Lauderdale, FL; great-grandchildren, Bridget Fox and Rory Fox of Pearl City, HI; great-grand dogs, Jake and Rip Beach of Vicksburg, MS , Nutmeg, Raven, Oscar and Bailey Veenhof of Brevard. Sisters; Janet (Joe) Morgan of Batesville, MS and Carol (Gerald) Vance of Indianola, MS and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday May 15th at 2-3:30pm.
