The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorothy Owen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: My deepest condolences for the Owen family. I knew Dorothy as "Mamaw Tinker". She was loved very much by all of her family. She was one of the best cooks around. I'm sure she will be missed, but she is now out of all the pain she had and is with her loved ones. She will be remembered, always. You guys are in my thoughts and prayers. If you need anything, don't hesitate to call. You are loved!!

Condolence From: Nancy O'Dell Henderson
Condolence: Graduated from high school with Tinker in 1962. She was a lot of fun to be in school with. Loved her son Ricky...That was one of the first things I remember her telling me in home room in the 10th grade when she moved back to Rosman and joined our class. I have a son, Ricky. Sometimes when she would go home for lunch she would bring him for us to see. Hard worker, she worked with my Mom in Endless Belt for several years. Always friendly....have not seen her in years, but several people would tell me how hard she would work even when she was so sick. I know her family will miss her.
